Is Not For Profit Health Insurance the Answer?

All the talk about reforming health insurance seems to finally come to an argument about. . . PROFIT. I seriously doubt those who say not a profit is what increases the cost of healthcare and health insurance premiums have a real understanding of economic profit. If they have a college degree at all, it is more likely in the liberal arts. For them, profit is a four letter word, but they have a job or operate a business, then they owe their existence to someone making a profit.

But let us be clear on one thing. Even not for profit organizations to make profits.Rather than pay on those profits to shareholders, they reinvest those profits in the company directly.

Churches, hospitals, schools, charities that fall under the auspices of not-profit status all have a goal to restore a higher income than they pay in expenses. If they fail to do what they are closing their doors.

Man Killed On Bike Trail - News Story - WSB Atlanta

ATLANTA - Atlanta police said someone shot and killed a man as he walked a bike path that runs through Washington Park. The victim was returning home after walking his girlfriend to the station.

"We do not know what happened. Someone tried to steal him, I think," said family friend Debra Parks.

Parks and his family have said they can not understand why someone shot and killed the man she considers a son.

"He was walking my granddaughter to the station. It was right there beside the house. And we heard a gunshot and it was said Parks.

Because the victim was his granddaughter's boyfriend long, Thaddeus.

Sunday evening, he walked granddaughter parks train station, but never returned home to his family. The family said they found at the foot of the bike path along Washington Park after hearing a gunshot.

"My daughter said she saw flashing lights here if we left and we walked here. And once we got to the bike path, we (SAW) himself, "said Parks.

Those who knew the victim said he was not known to cause trouble.

Police have not confirmed the death was motivated by robbery.
