Jeff Saut: Bond Market Starting To Break Down, Turn Cautious On Stocks

Raymond James strategist Jeff Saut does what is wise to take another week to relax with family - we recommend it - but in a brief note, he warns of a breakdown in bonds.

In fact, we've been shamelessly bullish on most asset classes since March 2, 2009, but we made some time carefully over the last eight months. To be sure, "said asset classes have at least three standard deviations undervalued back in March. Since then, most were normalized to median valuation levels.Consequently, as we enter the new year, we again turn cautious because the market for Treasury bonds falls apart (read: higher interest rates) and the U.S. dollar is rallying. After negative dollar since 4Q01, we turned neutral constructive on the ball "in 4Q07 and has recommended the closure of all the negative positions of the U.S. dollar. More recently, we suggested the dollar" could be in for a fairly decent rally. If yes, the ubiquitous "dollar carry trade" is in danger of unwinding with the consequences down for most asset classes.Therefore, we believe it is prudent to "bank" some profits trading and hedging positions in the investment approach of the new year. However, we still believe the nascent economic recovery will gain momentum in 2010, and earnings comparisons will look good in 1:10. The question then becomes how much has already been rejected by the 68% rally off the March lows? also worth considering is whether it is a rally in a market currently trading stock program or the start of a new secular bull market.Currently we have no idea, but they are pleased that we appreciated the eight laps months.

Choosing a card with no annual fees is the best option, but if it is not possible shop around for a credit card with a minimum amount of fees.  It will save money in the end.  Furthermore, consider what other services and benefits do the cards offer.  For instance, is there a rewards program with cash back on the credit card with no annual fees or does the card with annual fees offer more rewards making it worthwhile after all.  You need to make comparisons before finalizing your decision.  Do the research and breakdown options before deciding on which business credit card is best.

Another important aspect to remember when selecting a business credit card is the interest rates.  Interest rates make a huge difference when judging which credit card company to choose.  Many cards offer a 0% APR promotion for new cardholders, but read the fine print.  For the interest rate after the initial period may increase significantly.  Thus, be thorough when picking a credit card for your business.
